If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent a good part of your life chasing two things: the perfect line of code, and the perfect “clack.”
As a programmer by day and an avid gamer by night, I’ve always been obsessed with the tools that bridge our physical world with the digital one. And at the center of it all is the most important tool of our craft: the keyboard.
The Journey to the Perfect Setup
For years, my reality was a generic membrane keyboard that came in a box. It did the job, but it lacked soul. For someone who spends hours typing code and then switches to gaming for precision and speed, it felt like trying to run a marathon in flip-flops. It worked, but I knew there had to be something better.
The dream was always there, fueled by videos of incredible desk setups and the almost hypnotic sound of a true mechanical keyboard. That desire for a clean, beautiful, RGB-lit “battlestation”—and yes, the satisfyingly loud clicks—was the ultimate goal.
When I finally got my hands on my first real mechanical keyboard, it was a game-changer. Suddenly, my code seemed to flow more naturally, my fingers felt less fatigued, and my in-game response felt sharper. The beautiful setup I had always wanted was starting to take shape.
But that first keyboard wasn’t the end of the line; it was the beginning of a deep and fascinating hobby. I discovered there was a whole universe behind that “clack”: the difference between Blue, Red, and Brown switches; the premium feel of PBT keycaps versus standard ABS; the art of “modding” and creating a keyboard that was uniquely mine.

It was on this journey that Teclando Online was born.
I realized that my quest to build the perfect setup—one that balanced a gamer’s aesthetic with a programmer’s functionality—was a journey many others were on, too.
